About Ryan Young
Ryan Young is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. Ryan earned a scholarship to play football at Kansas State University under legendary Head Coach Bill Snyder. As a standout NCAA athlete Ryan served as a two-year captain and earned his degree in Communications. Ryan was drafted to play in the NFL by the New York Jets, drafted a second time as the 2nd overall pick in the 2002 Expansion Draft by the Houston Texans, and signed his final NFL contract with the Dallas Cowboys. After retirement from the NFL, Ryan worked for ESPN Radio and Fox Sports as a sports analyst and later leaving the industry to pursue a career in medical sales. While working on his Masters of Practical Theology at The King's University, Ryan served as a character coach with Fellowship of Christian Athletes. In 2017, Ryan resigned from his position with FCA and launched iCoach Character. Ryan and his wife Charity, reside in Fort Worth, Texas.
